About Our Practice

At Mindful Therapy Brooklyn, we help children, teens, and families navigate life’s challenges with understanding, skill, and connection.

Our team of experienced therapists provides a safe and supportive space where young people can express themselves freely and families can rebuild trust and harmony.

We specialize in helping children and adolescents who are facing emotional, behavioral, and developmental struggles — from anxiety and ADHD to trauma and attachment difficulties.

We believe in working with both the child and the parent, supporting the whole family system so lasting change can take root.

FAQs

How can therapy help my child or family?

Therapy helps children and families build emotional awareness, manage behavior, improve communication, and strengthen relationships.

Do I really need therapy? We usually manage things on our own.

If challenges are beginning to impact your child’s happiness, school life, or your family’s harmony, therapy can provide the support and strategies you need to move forward effectively.

What issues do you help with?

We work with children, teens, and families facing anxiety, trauma, ADHD, attachment issues, grief, neurodivergence, and parent-child conflict.

What can I expect from the first session?

The first session focuses on getting to know your child and family, understanding your goals, and creating a comfortable space for open dialogue.

Do you accept insurance?

Mindful Therapy currently accepts private pay (cash) for sessions. We can provide superbills for clients seeking reimbursement from their insurance provider.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person sessions?

We are happy to meet with teens, parents or adult individuals online. However, we believe that it’s important to work in person with children, so we don’t schedule those sessions online.

How do I get started?

Simply submit the contact form on this page or call. We’ll answer any questions, discuss your needs, and help you connect with the right therapist for your goals.

See what others are saying

Fantastic! Brady does an excellent job of helping me identify the core issues bothering me and helping me treat these areas. I’ve had great success using the techniques he taught me and feel more at peace and comfortable with my past and present. I highly recommend Brady to anybody who needs somebody to talk to in therapy.

Brady is truly an amazing leader and counselor. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to change their lives and seeking freedom. He is empathetic, kind and seeks to understand those he serves. As I met with Brady for sessions, and was part of a team he lead, I learned about what grace truly means and how to give grace to others. Under his guidance and leadership I became a better person and a much better leader.
